Better late than never!!

I've thought about updating this every day, and every day, I get going on some other project and forget all about it. Today is the day I cross it off my to do list!!

Here is the timeline we have for the Festival:

Friday, August 3, 2007 Lewis memorial children's park, First St.

6:30pm Strawberry Social
7:00pm Scottville Clown Band

There will also be a Titanic Slide for the kids, along with free sno cones and cotton candy. The Betsie Valley PTS will also be selling popcorn.

Bring lawn chairs and enjoy the show!!

Rain location for this event is Betsie Valley Elementary Gymnasium.

9:00am Teen basketball tournament
Ticket sales for 50/50 raffle must be present to win

10:00am Craft fair set up
Food vendor set up
Historical Society exhibit

10-1pm Kids games, fire truck rides, 30 ft titanic slide
Pomona Bible Church free water booth

12:00pm Copemish School reunion-American Legion Hall

12:00pm Horseshoe tournament sign up begins at 11am, first 15 teams

12:00pm Community Center Grand Opening

1:00pm Parade

2:00pm Fire Department Chicken Dinner

2-4pm Historical Society exhibit

2-4pm Cake walk and bake sale

2-4pm Munson health screening

7-11pm Teen Dance, Community Center, cover charge

6-10pm Adult Dance, Betsie Valley Gym, cover charge

Fire Works at dusk, provided by Don and Shirley Myers

8:30-11am Pancake Breakfast, St. Rafael's Catholic Church. All you can eat, by donation

9:00am 5-K Run and Walk Cleon Township Hall starting and finishing

10:00am Sunday School (K-5 grades)
11:00am Community Church Service sponsored by Pomona Bible Church and
NW Baptist Association
12:00pm Dusters Off Road Club Truck Display
12:00pm Copemish Community Center grand opening (former fire department building)
12:00pm 30 ft. titanic slide for the kids, sponsored by the NW Baptist Association
12:00pm Kids crafts in the new library, former fire department
Food vendors will be available all weekend
Tshirts and cookbooks will be on sale all weekend
Copemish Flea Market is opened Saturday and Sunday 9-5, with auction Sunday at 11:00am
